Questions about Cobra Super Plush Deluxe & Cobra Deluxe Jr Microfiber towels

I notice on these towels only one side is really thick and plush and the other side is less thick. Why are they like this?

I've seen that too, but never questioned that. I guess since it's meant to be used as a QD towel, one side is easier for spreading products, another for buffing with no streaks.
 
The super plush side is for that final wipe down and the less plush side is more for LSP or polish removal.
 
THis is on the super plush? It is like that on the miracles, and I love it!
 
Thanks everyone. I was guessing the less plush was for residue removal. I've been using the super plush side for final buffing :p

and before anyone asks, they are both considered the same towel. One is bigger and one is smaller. One is blue, the other is purple.
