Questions regarding glaze + sealant..

Agreed. Whatever is done needs to be planned and executed in the correct order or the end result will suffer.

I'm not a professional detailer, but I have some experience with similar processes in machining. Much like his forum posts, I found Mike Phillips' Show Car Shine book to be informative and useful, as well as written in an approachable manner for the novice. It helped me fill in some knowledge gaps, too. I highly recommend it to Mr. E93to, again. If the $15 eBook fee is too onerous, some of the threads I referenced earlier (and some of the posts from Nicholas and others) have good information about proceeding in an systematic way towards a good result. A good plan will take into account how the various products work together, and what processes are required to improve the paint with those products.

I'd plug products/processes into the basic plan that Nicholas provided, post that detailed plan here, and see what the mob thinks before starting again.

Here's my plan:

Wash and rinse

Remove glaze and 2 coats of sealant I applied 1 week ago - use Meguiars Ultimate Polish.

Use IPA (30:70 mixed with distiller water) to remove polish residue

Wash and rinse

Apply Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze

24 hours later, apply Collinite 845

Enjoy shiny car

I don't see a point in another wash after the IPA wipedown. That's just another chance to scratch up your work with nothing to gain. Also, you might do a small test to see if topping with 845 is beneficial. Two coats of Klasse makes more sense to me. Take your time, work clean, don't progress to the next step until you're satisfied with the step you're on, and good luck!

Here's a single stage white after wet sand and 3 stage correction..
2 coats of collinite 845 only.... The stuff plain works...

Update:

I decided not to re-detail my car... The car is shiny enough, although water doesn't seem to bead as well as I hoped. Maybe I'll detail again around late August, and maybe again before winter (mid-November)

845 is pretty affordable. You could do a small test spot to see how it works with whatever is already on the paint. If you like the results, do a thorough wash and add a few layers of 845 all around. No harm done, and little effort or expense added.

The problem is that I already drove around quite a bit, which could have contaminated the car... Plus, there is still some Klasse sealant residue on the car lol (some minor streaks here and there...)

One last noob question...

So It's been more than a month since I detailed my car (this thread was posted on June 26th).

I want to apply Collinite 845, so I was wondering whether it would be safe to apply the wax even though I drove the car around... I drive the car only once a week though. Maybe 20-30km per week (for the last 3 weeks, I literally drove the car on Saturdays ONLY). Car was always parked inside parking lots and garage.

Thanks in advance.

I would at least give it a good wash. You don't want to trap any dirt, dust, or road grime under the wax. Even though you don't think you're driving the car much, it's still picking up contaminates.
