I have worked for a used car dealership here in Ohio for almost 3 years detailing, and have decided to disassociate myself from them and their national brand. In between jobs I plan on detailing here at home, my question is, do I need a vendors or any other type of licensing? Thank you

Yes, to be legal, you need a vendors license. Most services are taxed in Ohio, so you will need to collect and pay sales tax on your service.
