Quick and easy liquid wax

Those of you who are recommending the Pinnacle Liquid Souveran seem to be overlooking the needs of the OP. He wants an economical liquid wax for his base details. He already has protectants for his high- and middle-range customers. Liquid Souveran ($95 for a 64 oz. jug) is well over twice the price of Meguiar's or Duragloss. Let's help the guy make some money. He's a businessman.

I think the look of Souveran Liquid with have them coming back for addtl details. Its a stunning product, and its price point is reasonable for a higher end carnauba especially given sales, forum discounts, or free shipping offers. Easy to use also meaning quick. Likely using less than 1 ounce per car if used sparingly. Megs and Duragloss are certainly other choices ...

+1 for Liquid Souveran. You'll get real close to the look of your expensive paste waxes.

I appreciate everyones input but this is what i am getting at. i need a cheap easy on easy off. i understand the amount of product per cost is very good with the souveran but i also dont want to give away what i could be selling. if the car looks great when it leaves with the souveran, it makes it harder to upsell the Fuzion. i get alot of body shop details that shouldnt take anymore than a couple hours for a full and before i start i always offer the upgrade to the Fuzion, but if they decline i just use whatever is going to give them their moneys worth. i have priced out the Megs and think that may be the way to go. hope this doesnt wrinkle the foreheads of the Souveran supporters, but i do appreciate everyone putting in their .02 cents:cheers:

Highline I still believe in using the better products it just builds repeat business. Just make sure they know you used better product then you charged them for - that way you have added value to your business. You can have a higher price for Fuzion but if very few people ever buy that level you really are not making a viable market out of it. I have found in my business that always giving something unexpected or extra is what has set me apart. People have come to me for a basic wash or detail and I take an extra 1/2 hour and do some interior work.

Thanks for the advice...most of my clients are high end cars(Ferrari, Bentley, classics, show cars, etc...) but every now and then i get the "average joe" that wants a simple, cheap detail. I dont feel its fair to use the same products that i use on my exotics that are willing to pay a few hundred dollars, on a honda accord that only wants to pay 75 bucks. of course not that there is anything wrong with a honda, but i have to seperate the two or else the guy with the Ferrari thinks he isnt recieving any special treatment, which is what all of them want or else they wouldnt have purchased the car to begin with. i dont mean to sound like an errogant jerk but unfortunately, owners of valuable cars want to be assured that there cars are being worked on with only the best products in the business(which AG gratiously supplies). its kind of like when you buy brake pads nowadays, there are good, better and best and there has to be significant differences between the 3, i feel with this thought you have more appreciation of what you paid for...wow, sorry if this has gotten of topic

Try OCW you wont be dissapointed. Only thing thats easier and faster to put on is a WOWA product like optiseal or upgp.

It will give you the look of a higher end carnauba at a fraction of the price. It will take you 5 minutes more at the end of a detailer to use this. And when time=money, that means your making more per hour.

I would still highly suggest watching the BOGO area and VIP offers and consider Souveran when pricing is in arena you want to spend. Lets face it , you can make an easy buck once, or you can earn .75 on a reoccuring basis with repeat clients. Which do you want in the long run ??

(I learned this from my father who has sold cars and managed car dealers, one particularly, for over 20 years --- those salesman that move on quickly are for good reason they look to lobster for dinner and never know where the next meal is coming, when the better salemen can put hamburgers, pot roast, and even steaks in the freezer for months thru earning repeat business by make a good deal better). It takes money to make money in this world ...
