Quick and prob stupid MF care question

I don't boil them all the time but the times that I have resulted in no damage at all. In fact, they dried much softer than any other washing method I have tried. I think the boiling really deep cleans the fibers. I only let them hang out in the pot for a few minutes, wring out and then let dry. I have found that my drying towels work much better after a good boil compared to washing machine or apc clean.
I have some MF that have been waterproffed by permanon. May try this . Thanks ED!

Some varying opinions here.... I've been told to wash MF cloths in hot water, as it allows the "hooks" of the material to relax and release the dirt particles they have captured. It would be interesting to get an expert opinion.

IME you got an expert opinion by Ed. He is a great member of this board and really knows his stuff!
