Quick Detailer help!!!

i see, yeah it was just dust,very very light, used a very plush mf towel. didnt leave a scratch, believe me i was looking, haha.

its all good buddy.

I have done some research and think I will try out the fk 425 detailer. I seen where klrwheels did a comparison and said that fk425 is like adams in most ways, so I will give it a try. It is also $10 less than adams a gallon.
 
ONR for cleaning, FK 425 for a nice slick feel and great looks
 
alright im stumped...what does fk stand for? i have looked at all the charts/acronyms postings. thank you guys
 
What about crystal mist? That is the only detailer that I use. Am I going about it with the wrong product? Should I switch over to the FK product? I like cleaning power and shine. Qd most every day.
 
Imo, visually I couldn't detect a difference between 425 and OID. I think the 425 may have been a tad slicker. I'd pick OID over 425 due to the price factor. I think its $50 for 1 gallon which makes 4 gallons total. That's less than $13 a gallon. FK425 I believe is double the price of that.

I was pretty impressed by clearkotes quikshine.

Any of these QDs will aid in the drying process if that's what your looking for.
 
i've used both fk425 and oid. like 'em both but the cost savings of the oid concentrate tend to give it a nod. however, fk425 works much better on glass and lcd screens both in car and on laptop and tv.

i've had to cut 425 with distilled water when i was running out and worked very well compared to the full concentration. if you do that, the price difference is fairly close to oid.

can't go wrong either way though.

Just know that your comparing apples to oranges with those two choices.

ONR@qd concentration is not going to give you any where near the gloss and slickness of FK425 and the FK425 is not going to clean anywhere near as much as ONR

Crystal Mist is now the dedicated qder in the Pinnacle line, and Souveran Spray Wax the booster product. Both are great on carnuabas especially.

A real winner. I'm getting to where it's a coin flip between the DP Final Gloss and Crystal Mist when I reach for a QD. I usually use the DP while drying.

Also get DP Final Gloss, Crystal Mist, Surf City Hot Rod Detailer and Z6 and you may as well get Z8 while your at it. LOL!!!
