Here's an example of the kind of dust/dirt Wolfgang Uber can handle as a waterless without a problem. [yes the paint has swirls, they've been there long before I ever met the car] But I don't instill any new swirls whenever I wash this car.

While the Uber did a nice job,those swirls would drive me crazy. Makes me want to pack the tools and come remove them.

Ikr... Unfortunately I can't get the owner to fully give up on occasionally going back to the local swirl o matic hand car wash. It's actually almost to the point where I'm the only 1 maintaining it 90% of the time these days, so maybe it's getting close to being able to fully correct it 1 day. I think I can convince them if I tried because they really do care about that car.

I never use them in the traditional sense. Once they are used as a drying aid I don't like rubbing on the paint more.

My favorite up to this point is Opti-Seal since it doesn't stir up a static charge and attract dust.
It is a little bit more expensive but being a hobbyist, it is worth it.
 
Interesting that almost every thread here has each person saying something different for each product category.

Are we overthinking?

Anyway, I use Meguiars (either standard or ultimate) mixed with Klasse Sealent Glaze (up to 20%) as my mix (over Klasse AIO). This gives great protection and beading of water.


Like Griots speed shine too...

Sort of do the same. Once the car is washed and dried I will use a quick detailer as a drying aid on the coated cars. After that I don't touch the paint until the next wash. I rarely use quick waxes on coated paint now a days. I tend to stick with a product of the same family that is either a coating booster or coating detailer.
