Hello!

Currently, I am using Meguiars Qwik Detailer on my black and dark red vehicles. It works well, but I thought I would branch out and try something else. So, I have narrowed it down to the following:

Wolfgang detail instant spritz

Pinnacle crystal mist detail spray

Optimum Instant Gloss and Instant Detailer.

Can anyone recommend one? I'd like something that give a real "wet look" and makes the paint "pop." The Meguiars is good stuff, but I think theres better out there!

Would appreciate any thoughts!

Thanks!

Rupes spray sealant or sonax brilliant shine or Blackfire midnight sun spray are my 3 favorites.

Just stick to what you are using or try the Chemical Guys range if you can make sense of their products or try

So, you guys HONESTLY don't think any of my 3 choices would exceed Meguiars?

CarPro EcH2o. Mix it up as a detail spray in 1:10 or 1:15 ratio and fall in love. Great new product that is now my go-to detail spray and waterless wash for when the cars are dusty.

I used Griots Speed Shine today after it sitting on the shelf for about a year. I'd forgotten just how nice this stuff is. Great shine, slick, just a nice product. And I love the spray bottles. I'll use it for my Uber Rinseless when it's gone.

Speaking of Uber... it makes a nice detailing spray ;) super glossy, slick, and it seems to enhance beading. Might be a nice product for you. Additionally, it can be used for multiple tasks.

From your list I have only used Optimum Instant Gloss Detailer. It won't leave a hydrophobic surface behind like Meguiar's ultimate quik detailer. But it will leave more gloss and slickness than Meguiar's UQD. UQD needs a little more time for it to get slick. Optimum can be a bit finicky with warmer temperatures. It's worth trying a small bottle to give it a shot. Meguiar's M34 is another good one as well.

The Meguiars is good stuff,
but I think theres better out there!
•I agree that Meguiar's Quik Detailer
is good stuff, and works well.
-But...seeing that you want to try
something else in its stead:

•Out of the three QDs that you've
narrowed the field down to...
-I'll recommend the one that I've
most often used: Pinnacle's Crystal
Mist Detail Spray
(PCMDS)
.

•Note:
You'll have to be the one to
determine if PCMDS is "better"
than the Meguiar's Quik Detailer.

I haven't used them, would consider them quick detailers with with something special added in.

I started checking out the Optimum product the other night. It's supposed to be super slick.

I work in the sun all the time very happy with Poorboy Spray and Gloss

It is slick and glossy. Makes a great compliment to Gloss Coat.
