I am going to start doing Rinseless and Waterless washes depending on the condition of the car. I know I can use my ONR on plastic/rubber but when I use my Waterless and QD (right now I have Pinnacle for Waterless, but haven't found a QD yet) what do I use for the plastic/rubber? Something quick and easy.

I would use the waterless product if you are looking for quick and easy. Ultima Waterless Wash works good on trim in my experience. Of course application of a protectant from time to time will make cleaning a breeze.

You cant beat UWW+ . There is no need for a QD with UWW+ IME. It is also a great rinseless @ 1oz per 3 gallons.

I got the Pinnacle waterless wash on the BOGO at AGO. I don't think I can use it on trim? I'll have to get UWW next time since it can be used. Good the hear i won't need a QD with it. What is UWW + IME? Not sure what you mean by IME?

In My Experience

You can use the Pinnacle Waterless Wash on trim. It will do no harm. There are many products in detailing that overlap. Like Old Tiger I use a waterless wash product in place of a quick detail product.

That is very good to know... I could not find any info on the Pinnacle. I will try UWW + next time! just couldn't pass up that BOGO.

Jem7,

I couldn't resist that Pinnacle Waterless Wash BOGO, either :) I was planning on treating it like the Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine (ONR)

Actually, I was going to ask on here if I can use it like that ONR, using all the different dilution rates for the different jobs, because I don't actually know that I can.

Try valugard fast finish. Its a qd but actually darkens trim a bit and leaves since protection. Very inexpensive too. $17/gal i believe. I really like it for this purpose specifically.

Wolfgang Trim Sealant, use it once and good to go for 3-4 months.
A couple of drops goes far.
I use it on rubber, plastic and for my exhaust pipe, works good on chrome too.

A must have product IMP

Thanks... Got some Wolfgang in my wish list for my next order.

DG Aqua wax works great on plastic trim I would think that any spray wax that doesent dry white will work fine
