Under the hood for me, I only like doing it when it gets real dirty.

Engine bays, thats extra when I detail cars. Most customers dont want it.

I voted for washing, now that I have DP waterless wash I find no need
for a bucket and hose anymore. If that counts?

Interior glass only because I don't like doing it for some reason. I would rather clean an engine bay.

NEVER cleaned the engine bay, my mechanic steam cleans it for me every tune up.

I also skip the interior a lot.

Engine and trunk. Actually I've only vaced my trunk once, I normally have parts and oterh junk through around so I don't bother.

paint cleaning.
I use it on my cars sometimes when I switch out LSPs but usually go with clay and compound/polish on other cars.

Wheels/Wheelwells/Undercarriage
this was my vote..out of the three the under carriage definately gets less attention..wheels/wheelwells are always taken care of

I only touch under the hood when someone requests it, and no one does. The trunk usually gets taken care of, but I never touch the undercarriage as well. I only do paint cleaning if I use a buffer, and no many people care about that. Everything else gets taken care of.

why do so many people skip claying:confused:
I only clay when nesessary, usually hood, roof, and trunk lid every three months or so. Clay the whole car once a year. I use Pinnacle Ultra Poly clay, which is gentler on LSP, won't remove sealant. A lot of times after hood/roof/trunk lid clay I won't even rewax those areas. That's why I don't clay when fully detailing a car...Takes too much time.
However I also clay my windshield, side and rear windows when necessary as well (average 3 months) and reapply another coat of Klasse AIO on them.

I'll second that motion. Although more simplified these days since you can't find most engines.

I always skip wash and go right down to waxing...sike! Lol.
I skip engine, trunk, undercarriage.
