Quick question for everyone!!

Does everyone's family/friends think they are crazy for the way you take of your vehicle's?? Mine does!! My wife thinks Im nuts, and my mom swears Im going to "wax" off the paint!! I just laugh!!
 
yea my mom thinks i need to see a doctor about it
 
They can say what they want, when I hear comment like "what year is that mustang" me: It's a 95. them: "Wow you had me fooled I though it was a new one". me: whipping tears from my eyes "I love you man" LOL....
 
Same here.....My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts, especially when I told her that waxing a car is even better for me then be laying on a beach.:D
She likes the way her black BMW looks though with Wolfgang Sealant on it topped off with Pinnacle Souveran.:righton:
 
Glad to know Im not the only one!!! MY mom actually told me I was harming the paint, that your not supposed to wax a car for a year! I didnt even bother to try and explain why she was wrong!!
 
I've allowed those kinds of comments to go in one ear and out the other for a good while now. When i first started to get into detailing, my parents thought I was crazy. Nowadays though, they've gotten used to it. They actually start worrying when the car isn't clean :P
 
My response is: the cleaner you keep it, the easier it is to keep clean. Or: A clean car is a happy car.

My family knows this 'hobby' keeps me sane. My neighbors think I'm insane.
 
After doing my lawnmower, they knew I was bozo! Justw ait till I get my General Lee decals for it and Dixie air horn!
 
My wife is just starting to see my obsession with detailing my vehicles , my parents have just learned to deal with.:D
 
My father still wishes I lived at home .... the lotboy at his dealer is nowhere near as talented. My wife swears that when we divorce or I die, she will absolutely NEVER clean her car again.

LOL, my good MF's are only to be used by me, and everyone else can use my crappy ones!

I feel you there, my mom came over and let my son use one of my MF to wipe down his tri-cycle. He is getting the detailing bug!!
 
Now I don't know how I would feel if one of my children used one for the right purpose. I don't have kids yet, but I hear you love them more than anything. :)
 
My family all has a good time laughing at me (except my son ;) ), but I'm laughing all the way to the bank.
I just sold my '85 civic for three times what my sister got for her's 3 years ago!! :awesome:

If I didnt let her use them, she wouldnt wash them for me. All I know is we have something called the Duets.

And my wife actually has her own collection of micro's for the home !
