Quick Question

Alright guys, well recently, I bought alot of differnet stuff for detailing along with the pc. One of which is this kit. XMT Pad Maintenance Kit by Pinnacle For your dual action or rotary polisher.

The pads that come with this require a backing plate right? I ordered this one here: Dual-Action Hook & Loop Flexible Backing Plate 5"

These will work together right? I just don't full understand how the backing plates attach to the pads to begin with, so I am slightly confused haha... It will all be coming tommorrow and I will start polishing tommorrow night after work, so I am hoping this is correct.

They use velcro to attach.

"Hook and loop" is a little confusing. Im not sure why they call it that. But like Joy said, its just velcro. Itll all work fine.

Its because velcro uses "hooks" and "loops" to attatch. the velcro on the pad is the loops the one on the backing plate is the hooks

Oh alright.. great thanks guys. I was just making sure when it gets here tommorrow I can use it all right away... Can't wait.. Will get some before and after pictures for sure.
