Ok I have a client who's has fabric type seats... Their son wrote his name on the back of the seat with permanent black marker... What can I use to get the marker off the seat? I have some upholstery cleaner/carpet shampoo, I have some all purpose cleaner, also I have vinager rubbing alcohol and peroxide

Should I spray and scrub or dab?

Spray and dab [rub into the upholstery with your fingers], then mop up with a clean terry towel.
 
I don't know what this would do to auto upholstery, but I got ink out of a shirt with hairspray before.
