Quick review of McKee's 37 Rinse Free Wash & Wax (and Waterless Wash)

It's funny but not a month ago WG Uber rinseless was being touted on here as the best thing since sliced bread. That didn't last long. Next week it'll be something else. Cha Ching. Cha Ching.

Good question! I've never done rinseless washes before but I'm going to give it a go. Now I can't decide if I should get this or the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless.

I hear ya. I have the WG Uber Rinse-less and the BF Waterless (use it as rinseless). Like both of them, so I think I will have to resist buying this one till I use up some of my stockpiles of stuff..

I doubt you would be disappointed with any of the 3 Rinseless products from PBMG.

Great review Haris. I don't know how guys like you and Marc put these in depth reviews together, but I do appreciate and enjoy them. The new McKee's products sound promising for sure. I also agree with Nick on enjoying the picture with all the cars in the back ground. Thanks again.

As with any hobby, personal preference is a huge deciding factor of which product YOU think is best.

Some people will like Wolfgang Uber more than McKee's 37, while others will remain loyal to Optimum No Rinse and refuse to try anything else.

Whichever path you travel, I'm okay with it so long as you buy it from Autogeek. :)

Wonder how this compares to Optimum Wash and Wax which I was contemplating buying. I really liked the idea of UV a&b protection along with carnuba since it is used over Collinite.

I received a big box of 31 products, so if my assumption that there will be 37 total products is correct, then there are still a few surprises that have yet to be unveiled

Holy cow, when you said in your first post you thought it was McKee's 37 because there were going to be 37 products, I just rolled my eyes and thought "yeah, right". I'm floored that there are that many products in the line.

I dunno, as much as I like Optimum, it just galls me how ONR and ONRWW stain wash media, so that might be a deciding factor between the two. Perhaps Haris can chime in as to whether he noted any staining from this new McKee's product.

I also don't like using ONR because of the same reason - staining wash media.

I keep trying to tell myself that whatever makes it stain the media must make it a better wash than the ones that don't. But I can never quite convince myself.

HA!!!!!!!. Not able to be Brainwashed huh. That is interesting, first I have heard of the staining, guess I will have to get the Wife to take me out more often

Awesome review Haris.

I especially love the shot with all the cool cars in the driveway / garage. Your house looks like it should be in "Fast & Furious"...S2000, Ferrari, 300ZX....*drool* ;)

Here's a little more information about the 3 McKee's 37 products you reviewed in this article:

1. McKee's 37 Rinse Free Wash & Wax - This is an all-new formula that replaces "Rinseless Wash & Gloss." It contains more synthetic wax protection than any other rinseless wash on the market. It is packed full of real carnauba wax, synthetic polymers, and UVA/UVB absorbers. This product is so "substantial" with protection that it could be the one and only product you use to keep your car clean, shiny and protected, assuming you use it weekly (who else on this forum goes longer than a week without washing their car anyway? ;) ).

2. McKee's 37 Waterless Wash On-The-Go - This is another all-new formula that replaces "Waterless Auto Wash." It is far more lubricious (try and say that 3 times in a row) than the DP product it replaces, and it's also much easier to wipe clean. A concentrated version will also be offered, one that is 3 times more concentrated than the DP product it replaces. :xyxthumbs:

3. McKee's 37 Fast Wax - If you liked Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax, you'll love McKee's 37 Fast Wax. A few minor changes were made to the XMT formula for use in McKee's 37, namely a minor change in one component that requires less shaking before use (this product is packed full of wax, some of which would settle in the bottom of the bottle. This was necessary because McKee's 37 is in a black bottle, not clear like XMT). In my opinion, this change made the wax even easier to use than before.

Again, awesome review Haris. :applause:

Great review Haris! I am looking forward to trying McKee's 37 Rinse Free Wash & Wax and comparing it to Pinnacle Natural Brilliance Liquid Gloss Rinseless Wash with Carnauba (my favorite rinseless wash). Nick's description makes it sound like a sure winner :xyxthumbs:

I couldn't find anything on the label about waterless wash or clay lube ratios. It just says add 1 ounce of the Rinse Free Wash & Wax for every 2 gallons of water in your bucket. If this is to be the replacement for Detailer's Pro Rinseless Wash & Gloss, then maybe it can still be used at DP's clay lube dilution of 1 to 2 ounces of product to 32 ounces of water. I'm guessing the same recommendation is going to apply to this stuff but I could be wrong. Maybe someone from AG can chime in on that.

Also, I finally tried Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash this week. Good stuff, very slick. Love the smell too :) You won't be disappointed by either product. The Wolfgang does have a recommended waterless wash dilution of 1/3 of an ounce to 16 ounces of water though.

I figured it would be similar to its out-going cousin. Thank you for checking on the instruction. Your reviews & opinions are extremely helpful.

Yes, the Uber is a great product. I've been adding 1/2 oz of WG Spritz Sealant to the detailing mix to boost my touch ups in between washes with excellent results.

Honestly, this is one line of product I don't feel cheated on. Even if whichever one chooses happened to be just "okay", it's still very useful; with numerous applications. Quite different than many products that could possibly or have; stained, difficult to apply/take off, or not durable. Those, I can definitely feel the 'buyer's remorse.' Goodness knows I've experienced it quite a few times... Rinseless/waterless are relatively n00bproof. Easy to learn & fun to tinker with.

Good question! I've never done rinseless washes before but I'm going to give it a go. Now I can't decide if I should get this or the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless.

Highly recommend Uber or Ultima. You cannot go wrong with either. Personally, I would purchase two; Uber or Ultima AND D114. With these, you're pretty much set for all sorts of conditions, IMO.

Thanks guys. No staining on my wash mitt that I could see. I just tested out the McKee's 37 polishes and coatings today. Will post up on that later :)
