I've got a Range Rover coming in this week. It's a 2006 metallic gray. I'm assuming the paint is on the harder side, can anyone verify that?? Obviously I'll be doing test spots, but find it saves some time if you have some idea what you're dealing with...

Dave, haven't worked on an older one, but the 2011+'s I've worked on have been medium hardness. Hope this helps and looking forward to pics!

Just worked on a 2011 and with just a green pad and HD speed it corrected very well. Customer wasn’t interested in a full correction as he was prepping to sell it.

Scott is spot on. I worked on 3 Range Rovers and the paint is not that hard probably medium grade as Scott states. You don't need to make too many passes with a compound or you can go and see if a polish will correct. Test spot as you stated is the way to go.

Here are 2 Range Rovers the 1st 2 pics are a black RR and the other is a white

Thank you, definitely a help.

Thank you, I think I'll try the Mille with yellow pad and polish first. I'm sure I won't do the whole vehicle with it. With the bigger flatter panels it has long throw written all over it...

I have only touch Range Rovers 2015 and above. They were easily polishable.

I used a Rupes yellow pad with M205 for this black one.
