Rasky's AD: Kia Sorento, full detail

Co-workers Kia Sorento. Full detail, 1-step buff with M205...nothing crazy. Not a lot of afters either as the owner showed up just as I finished.

Before

crazy oxidation on the rubber around the glass, probably from touchless washes.

I had a heck of a time capturing the paint condition, not sure if it was from the orange peel or what, but it was a real pain.

50/50 with M205 via Flex 3401 and W8207 pad, speed 5.

What did you use on the discolored rubber around the window?

I have been using 303 with decent results on our family van.

Thanks! Yeah, she was very pleased and even gave me some extra $$$.


I was actually able to clean up the rubber with just some glass cleaner and a MF towel. I really don't like using dressings on rubbers like that since it just runs down onto the paint when it rains. I also tried some KAIO on a small area and that actually worked very well too. I was thinking about using that but noticed it clean right up with glass cleaner when doing the windows. :cheers:
