Rasky's Auto Detailing: Black CTS-V paint correction (Lots of pics)

Hey Chad another awesome turn around.Take a look at the the 3m double sided wool. Not sure if you ever used them they work alot better IMO the the Solo i've also heard that the solo's tend to fall apart faster. My solo hasn't but then again i don't do that much heavy wool work.

Thanks Adam! :)

Yeah, I'm looking for a replacement for the Solo wool pads. I like the 3M but they're just so dang over priced IMO. I also like the size of the Solo vs a lot of others.

Great job Chad. The 3M wool pads are not overpriced, you just need to stop being so cheap-lol.

:urtheman: Awesome awesome job. Very good write-up. Thank you for that.

Is there any danger of using the laquer thinner for the road paint? My sister has white paint on the passenger side that wont budge and I was wondering how to remove it... Feed back please

ALWAYS test it is a discrete area first before using it on a whole panel. That being said I've never had a problem using it in over 18 years on factory cured paint. If the panel has been recently painted it could soften/damage the clear though.

Have you tried Goof Off yet?

Will be testing goof off this week on it if I get back to their place... but am goign to take the thinner too in case this does not work
