I got a quick question for everyone, since Art says he is going to be doing 4 to 6 videos a week via his facebook posts just going of what Art said. What do you all think a service that actually taught you something with continued education is worth? Money wise for the subscription. Just curious, that all.

I appreciate his efforts to further educate others on how to maintain their cars properly.

Obviously this is not for everyone, but at the end of the day, all that matters is that more people are learning about detailing -- hopefully correct practices.

I will stick to AG and youtube, however.

I think it would be hard to compete with AG's extensive list of free videos.

Agreed Mike has done excellent work putting together a Library of great videos.

On the other hand none of it is business oriented. So I think there is room for other types of video aimed at the Professional detailers. Tricks to do things faster, tricks to select products, marketing info, sales info, all softs of things that are not covered by any videos I have seen.

To give an exemple of what I mean, I will use a situation I have seen on Kitchen Nightmares. Chef Gordon Ramsey came into a restaurant that was in trouble. The owner who was also the cook had composed his menu using Receipes from Receipe books he liked. The problem with that was that those receipes were designed for Cooking enthousiasts who had hours of time to cook for pleasure, not for professionnal cooks who had to serve 100 people in 2 hours. See the problem? The food was good, but it took way too long to make and it did not work in a restaurant.

I feel there is probably something similar happening here with detailing. All the techniques I have seen take a lot of time. Garry was talking about how he showed people to speed up their process in his trainning classes. Well that is the info I want. If I can shave off 2 hours in every detail, that is money in the bank!

Very important if you focus is on production detailing where time is money especially for a one person operation - all about efficiency.

^^^free, thats awesome!! Thanks Gary! BTW, wife and I moving to Tampa/Sarasota sometime in next 5 years.. need another detailer!? Haha

Garry came down to host a 2 day training clinic a few months back for us Aussie professionals. A truly nice guy albeit as loud and overt as any guy I've met! LOL

It was a fruitful experience in which I was able to take away a number of time saving tactics (whilst retaining quality) to improve my business model.

I might be jumping the gun, but I think those who would reap the most value out of his new videos are hobbyists to budding detailers. I am eager for him to prove me wrong.

I saw the videos he made while he was there. He seems like a really great guy. Can't wait for his website to be up.
