Ray's SEMA thread (UPDATED with Day 6)

Re: Ray's SEMA thread (UPDATED with Day 4)

Do you sell your products at SEMA or just show them off?

GTR is odd, but in a good way! Hope it's putting down some mean power to go with the crazy color.

Ahh I am starting to miss this little guy, and Nick to of course!

(Day 6 UPDATE)

This would be our final day at SEMA. The day started out normally, until a wild panda appeared!

IMG_3656.JPG

It was actually Greg Masterson :)

IMG_3657.JPG

Greg was such a cool guy.

IMG_3651.JPG

Even on the last day, our booth was busy.

IMG_3658.JPG

THE Jason Rose stopped by!

IMG_3661.JPG

As soon as the horn sounded marking the close of SEMA, we quickly dismantled our booth.

IMG_3664.JPG

We worked quickly.

After we were all packed up, we waited for our crate to be fork lifted to our booth.

IMG_3692.JPG

After a couple of hours, our crate arrived.

IMG_3696.JPG

It was pretty cool watching everyone else's display come down so quickly.

IMG_3698.JPG

We filled up the crate before heading to dinner.

IMG_3702.JPG

Good to go!

IMG_3707.JPG

For dinner I knew there was one place I had yet to visit that came highly recommend. Thanks to gedgem3, Bigbull2984, jwollam and Boo4Osu for giving a thumbs up to Grimaldi's.

I had a classic pepperoni. The pizza was great. It was too long since I've had great coal brick oven pizza.

In conclusion SEMA was a blast. It was a lot of work and the show was MUCH bigger than I thought, but I had a great time talking to everyone from regular customers to celebs. If you've never been to SEMA, it's easily worth the trip for any car guy (if you can find a way to get tickets). I remember reading about SEMA in car magazines as a kid and have always wanted to visit. Everyone that attended the show seemed to be a genuine car guy/girl, which made the experience that much sweeter to enjoy. If you do plan on going, just bring a comfy pair of shoes and a big suitcase to pickup some of our special deals.

Thanks for reading!

Re: Ray's SEMA thread (UPDATED with Day 2)

Ray did you see the rims on the 1967 Camaro? That place Ultimate Auto in Orlando did a couple of my cars, they do amazing work. Did they put that at the BASF booth?

But those rims are carbon fiber.

Found a pic of the rims!

Those are some sick wheels! They are aluminum of course, albeit carbon wrapped. Still seriously sick wheels! :D (And an accident waiting to happen for SURE.)

Knowing the 'non' carbon ones are $1650 or so, I can't even imagine what upcharge that is. I just priced a set, for $hits-n-giggles and it was just under $8000 wheels and tires. (No carbon wrap either.) Woweee.........

Just curious? What was the new item that Flex had in that big box? Or did they release anything new?

That pizza is good. We love it here in vegas. To bad u didn't visit Bachi Burger. Next time I guess.

Just as a general observer and a fan of AG, after walking through Sema, while the AG booth has good space, it definitely lacked the visual pop that so many other booths had. Great show though.
