Yea, it's a '93 325is in Brilliantrot. I think it was an e30 color that they carried over before they decided on Hellrot. The only other ss e36 paints were dakar yellow and mugellorot I believe.What YMM BMW do you have? If it is a ss red my guess would be an E30 or early E36...
Once the summer show / cruise season is over, I do plan on treating the most sensitive panels, the roof and hood, with Opti-Coat. I'll do a new thread with some pics when the time comes. There hasn't been any info here on OC with SS paint, and Dr. G cautions that the results may vary dependent on the paint condition, but considering the effort I've put into my paint over the past years, I'm going to take a chance.
Thanks for the link, and I'll keep an eye out for the Opti-Coat results. Im curious to see how it works out. I read the little Q&A with Dr. G on it with ss paints also. Your El Camino looks great! All the time spent on it definitely payed off.
