While my first attempt on the Civic turned out just fine, I thought I would try out some new products, namely Duragloss. In the past I used PB's EX-P with Natty's Blue on top after polishing with SSR 2.5 & 1. For these pictures I used XMT 3 & 1 (had a few new scratches that needed to be worked out) and then I used the Al-53 Duragloss Method® of layering the 105 followed by the Aquawax, then 105, AW, and a final 105 layer. I also used the 601 bonding agent first. I must say that I think I have a new favorite line of products. The 105 has to be the easiest I have used in application and removal, and to test it I left my trunk out in direct sunlight and applied it when it was very hot. I let it sit in the sun for about an hour and it came off just as easy as the rest of the 105 did that was in the shade. The car is noticeably smoother than it has ever been and my metallic paint looks great. Anyways, here are some pics for you all.

Yes it is. It is now my official 'go to' product. 2 more coats to go on my Yukon and I'll post those pics next. :awesome:

Wicked1 awesome job....first time was a winner....you did good...see all the questions paid off...now..tell me..is it slick...you see the polymers in the AW bring out the flake..wash with the DG soap and it will look like that for long time..AW monthly if you need it...Fast clean and shine if you need a QD for dust and bombs and lite dirt....

you did a awesome job....

Beautiful job with that DG!!! Love the look!! Awesome how those flakes pop. Especially love that 2nd to last pic which almost looks like a still pond with tiny pebbles sitting at the bottom!!

Looks awesome man!!

I take it overall you prefer DG 105 over EX-P?

Also, any noticable difference between the SSR compounds and the XMT compounds? Did you polish in shade or sunlight?

Thanks for the compiments. :D Yes, I definitely prefer the 105 over the EX-P. A little goes a long way, comes off super easy, and I prefer the look and slickness over the EX-P.

As for the difference between the SSR and XMT, I like the XMT better as it seemed to dust much less than the SSR. I polished in the shade, except for the trunk which I tried out in the sun. Didn't really have any problems other than having to use just a bit more polish while working on the trunk.

Thanks Al. It is quite a compliment coming from you. Kind of like the student getting kudos from the master. :awesome:
