If I didn't like trying new things so much I would have gone for the gallon at 35.00. For a professional that would save a fortune. A gallon of this stuff will go a LONG way

Hi Nick, Tell us a bit about the "new blue formula" of Optimum hyper polish. Looks like a pad dependent product. What cut/gloss level would you define it with a polishing pad (to achieve a one step cut).. 5/9?
I have been looking for an allrounder one step (for soft/medium paints) thats easy to work with, requires balanced section passes to do its cut/finish... A little more light on the hyper polish please..

Cant believe I missed this for so long. Great turn around! I too love Optimum Hyper Polish and am a big fan of the new HD Orbital Pads. They can really take a beating and the orange finishing pad is absolutely perfect. Combined with OHP its Jesus's nector lol.

curious what Nick says too but i use OHP and OHC almost exclusively. have used it on the softest of Honda paints and hard paint like my MB. it's extremely pad dependent. lots of flexibility and wacky long working time. and no dust. only thing is, recently i started putting it in some small bore flip top squeeze bottles so i could basically drip it on the pad, or apply thin lines if i want. either way, i didn't want the bore of the top to be too big since it's such a thin product, but i also felt it was time to bail on the sprayer. i end up wasting product using the sprayer because it doesn't prime easily after sitting a while.
some people have said that OHC doesn't have the cut of others but i'd be scared of something that cuts faster/more with a cutting pad. i feel i could take out pretty crazy sand scratches with OHC very quickly, no matter the finish. and it finishes super well too.
