Can I re-use the white and yellow sonax applicators after using to apply PNS? Recommended cleaning technique, if any?

I throw the 25+ I have in the garage for classes in the washing machine and then the dryer.
They seem to hold up pretty good. Then I store them in a box for next use.
NOTE: They will never look as "bright" both the yellow and the white as when they were brand new but as long as they are clean - you're good to go.
