I'll start by putting a disclaimer...I didn't get before and haven't taken any after pics yet...

That said...I am officially ready for Ole Man Winter.

Last weekend, I machine polished my black 2010 Acura TSX with the Wolfgang Twins-I was extremely happy with the results from the twins. I used tangerine Lake Country Hydro Tech pads for the TSR and black CCS pads for the FG with the PC7424XP. I then machine applied a layer of Collinite 915 using red CCS pads. I topped off the Collinite 915 with some Swissvax Concorso.

Today I changed the oil and rotated my tires. I cleaned the wheels and tires, dried, and then applied 2 layers of Collinite 915 on all the rims. The Collinite 915 went on very easy and wiped off even easier. I can't wait to see the durability of the 915.

Who else is ready for winter and how did you prepare your vehicle and what ride did you do this on?

Sounds like it should be nice and protected.

I am fortunate enough that I don't experience any winters worth really prepping my car for.

Although my cars both have a coat of 845 on them.

*sigh* I'm so jealous...I'm really starting to re-think my current location. Nice weather all year long sounds so good right about now. Its been in the 50's and 60's for the past few weeks and I'm HATING it.

I just finished my winter prep.

Paint: BFWD x2 + 845
Windows: BFWD
Trim: 845
Wheels: 845

Thats the Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish protectant?

Sounds like you you're ready as well...what kinda ride do you have?

I'll squirt my cars & wheels with Optimum Spray Wax...10 minutes per car. The windows will be treated with RainX. I'll throw my fancy window scraper (from Costco) in the back & vacuum my Weather Tech Floor mats.

I'll need to get one of those new emergency battery chargers too.

I need to get them weather tech floor mats for my car. Last year the salt ruined my drivers floor mat.

I'm going finish my car tomorrow. So far Klasse AIO, Klasse sealant, 845, on paint.
Wheels got Klasse sealant, 845.

Alex you going garage your tsx when winter comes?

What else are you going to do to the ride?

I wish I could garage it. I don't have a garage at my house, but I do park in the parking garage at work. My car usually ends up in the garage on the weekends at my fiance's house.

Just finished my winter prep. OC on whole car in March, put in my WeatherTech floor liners

Going put another coat of 845, and clean mufflers with steel wool and Never Dull. Going do a write up once I'm done. I spent about 15+ hours already.

I just changed all my lights into LED. It's super bright now. :xyxthumbs:

I'm going spoil my car this year and garage it when it gets nasty.

After years of eye balling Weathertech floor mats I finally bought a set for my new Tahoe this summer. Now they are expensive and a little thinner that I thought they should be for the money but now that I have them, they are well worth the cost. They fit like they are custom made (which they are I think). I bought the mats that have the edges that keep all the garbage from spilling out and they are very easy to clean. I carefully remove them from the vehicle, hose them off, spray a little ARO on them, and then a quick scrub and rinse. They look like new again. If I lived up north with sand and salt I would buy these things without hesitation. You'll soon forget about that initial investment. And they look good too.
:props:

Alex,

Sounds as if you're ready to do battle to me!

Great choice of quality products to protect for the long winter ahead.....:dblthumb2:

Are you applying with machine?

No... I use a foam -or- MF applicator. I have not found KSG DA friendly. I only apply it by hand. And using it @ 2:1 / 3:1 allows me to apply it in 10-15 minutes. And I can apply it so thin it is much easier to remove.
