Over the years, I've used a variety of waxes: paste, liquid, and most recently spray waxes. Now I'm thinking of returning to a paste wax. But I have a question regarding foam applicators. Here's the two I'm looking at.

Lake country ccs applicators, wax applicator, sealant applicator
Pinnacle Foam Wax Applicator- Great applicators- Great results!

Are the red CCS pads truly as durable and re-usable as product description claims? Or is it all just hype and I'd be better of with the yellow Pinnacle foam applicators?

I actually use both and probable more the Pinnacle. Not that there's anything wrong with the red CCS pads but I find the yellow Pinnacle pads easier to form and are a bit smoother and softer...

I also use both but I prefer the CCSs (I have Bobby's exactly opposite opinion on smoothness, but I agree the Pinnacle ones are easier to handle). And yes, both are virtually indestructible: I wash them by hand, on the machine, high temp, low temp, etc. and some are still good after years of use (I tend to throw away those that change colour, though - not that they are ruined, its just the OCD in me...).

Both are great. I'd stick with the pinnacle though if price is an issue.

Thanks for the great tips! Yes, unfortunately cost is an issue. Think I'll be going with the yellow Pinnacles. Really can't beat the price.
