Have you used any specific carpet cleaning products? APC usually does not do the trick when it comes to carpet stains.

do you have access to a steamer?

can you borrow one from someone? they are INCREDIBLE :xyxthumbs:

I have access to a steamer but its used for putting leather on car seats ...it looks like a house hold steamer but gets way hotter... Will that work??

If youre concerned with too much heat use with a mf towel over it first.... If that dOSNT HELP USE THE STEAM ALONE..

also distance of steam bombardment helps too...

That review was from over a year ago... maybe he has used both products in the time since his review was written... I have also had good luck with the CG Carpet Cleaner

are you using it as a spot removal or diluted for generalized extraction?

Sending you a PM with a nifty trick for removing stubborn carpet stains. Works well.

I do have some cg lighting fast

i will try with the steamer also

we'd ALL like to know this trick! :dblthumb2:

It's a link with a write-up that I have used on some very neglected interiors recently that works and is cheap. You can google "how to remove stubborn carpet stains with an iron" and a W I K I link will come up showing a very detailed review using a household iron.

I find that if you sub out the dish soap for say Folex or your dedicated carpet cleaning agent of choice out in place of the soap and follow the same method it works wonders. Not really a secret I was trying to hide just didn't want to break any rules :)

Come on Tory.... share with the rest of us!

See above :dblthumb2:

I use it diluted at 10:1 (I believe, I haven't mixed any up in a while)... I vacuum the area, treat it with cleaning solution, allow time to dwell, re-apply some cleaning solution and agitate heavily, then extract using only clean hot water. Works pretty well for most things, but yours looks like a piece of work. Good luck.
