Really Really Really bad tar - advise, help?

I don't know where to start. From door handles all the way down to the rocker panels. Luckily it's a black car. But this is THICK.

Clear coat paint technology is pretty tough paint compared to paint before 1980, Kerosene, Tarminator, Mineral Spirits, etc won't dissolve or harm the clear paint but together with rubbing this tar off you're going to induce some swirls and dull the paint.

Do you have a machine polisher?

Any medium to light polish and/or even a good cleaner/wax will restore the clarity after you get the tar off.

Just consider the underneath sound proofed and sealed with a rust inhibitor.

Hi Mr. Phillips - honored to get a reply from you. Thanks for your feedback.

Yes after removal I'm going to do a full compound with M105 and M205...etc. I'm a rotary nerd.
