Reason for a more powerful Pressure Washer?

THe only mod on that old truck was age and bad maintanance!
I was referring to your statement "more mods = more maintenance, just clean O2 sensors more often". Correctly done mods will not result in any additional contamination of O2 sensors.

Most of the cars that run rich are from an ECU remapping that generally destroys the cat and sometimes ruin the O2 sensor, I have always made sure that I never go past that line but I've seen it happen many times.

104 octane will.

Incorrect use of unleaded vs. with lead will too. It all depends on which octane / type of fuel engine is supposed to be using. Using wrong one for the application can be classified as "incorrectly done mod".

Actually, its not incorrect. 02's will not last long on 104 octane. A engine can be tuned to run perfectly fine on any octane. Thus being done correctly. However, those stock 02's will not last long.

For me doing modification in a part of a system without making sure rest of the components in the system as a whole do not get impacted by it is an incorrectly done modification. Significant shortening of life span of a component is a significant impact. To me that is not running perfectly fine. Car is not just an engine (as in just motor). It is an engine motor is just a part of.

So nascars and dragsters arent built correctly because they often need fixing or adjusting? Just because you shorten the life of something, does not mean its done incorrectly. Chances are any car running that high of octane is going to be highly modified. And these cars obviously do not last as long as stock daily drivers.

Are you a lawyer by chance? Because you LOVE to argue. This will be my last response to you, I know how things get. Ive enjoyed reading your other posts in this thread though, very informative.

Nascars, dragsters, and similar are designed with certain longevity as a part of a design and modifications are done by same team that designs them and makes them. Discussion above was aimed on stock regular production cars with their stock longevity and modifications done by outsiders afterwards. Apples and pineapples.

No, an engineer, a profession that pays big attention to facts.

There is a huge difference between argument and discussion. Laying out the logical facts is a discussion, even when it is not in agreement with what you would like it to be. Argument is when one prefers emotional reactions and is not interested in facts nor logic, fact and logic irritate them just because it is not what they like so they would rather storm out.

What type of engineer are you....im going to be going into that field myself (ME&SE).;)

You're right Zoran.

LOL, FMINUS this is kind of scary!
