Look into a metal small overhang if your looking for a permanent covering for your personal car.If interested I have the info.

GSKR -I'd be interested. Don't have a garage and looking for something to shade the car when working on it. Thanks.

Are you looking for permanent or a pop up canopy. The metal one you can't disassemble in 20 min,it's more of a permanent solution to your request.

Portable. I want something I can use for cook out and detailing car. I'm guessing that's why there lite

I was actually just looking into this earlier today for my vendor booth at car shows.

10x20 Pop Up Canopy
10x20 Pop Up Professional Canopy

Looks like the more expensive one weighs 50lbs more and uses 600 denier polyester instead of 500. For almost double the price and the fact I'll only be using it 2-3 times a month 5 months a year I think I'm going to go with the cheaper one.
There are also 12x12 straight leg tents available (unfortunately they don't make a 12x24) but I prefer the look/stability/quality of the bigger size rather than 2 small ones.

For a portable, check out the canopies by E-Z UP (www.ezup.com). You can use these up as needed. Easy set-up and take down.
