Take the tip of your finger and rub the surface of the wax in a small circle and watch as the wax softens and becomes easily spreadable.

Wax is heated and poured, then allowed to cool so it will solidify. If it cracks, just reheat it with a hair dryer. It will melt back together, then let it cool and it will be as good as new.

I did this with another wax and had no problems but I always wondered if reheating a wax would affect the chemistry of it. Especially a polymer based wax. Im waiting on my subzero special to come and I planned on doing this. The thing is I didnt mind reheating those others waxes because if they messed up, well they were less than $20, but for messing up something like this would kind of hurt my pockets.

Put in a double brolier and it will all blend in.:righton:

I agree 100 percent with what you said. When my my sub-zero order came it also had several major cracks in it as we were told might be the case in the writeup for the sale, but as you say Dwayne, it becomes soft under you finger. I found zero problems with it and have been very happy with the results I got. If it bothers some of our co-Geeksters the hair dryer might be the way to go, other wise I would'nt sweat it.

Put wax in a fryer where you fry french fries!!! j/k. I think I'm going crazy...imagine french fries with carnauba taste to it!!!:righton::D:cheers:
 
I did the hair dryer trick, worked fine. Did it in stages. Got the chunks hot and let the wax start flowing, then let it cool and bit and set in the natural valleys. Then started again same thing, till it made a pretty flat surface. Two quick swipes with a applicator, and it looks like it never had a problem. Oh and a word to the wise, wax can get very hot LOL My wife thought I was making something kinky for the night when I was doing this.
