So for those who may not know I'll have surgery soon due to my back really being messed up which doesn't allow me to walk more then 20 feet but I want to get back to my office on Monday but doctor said needed a scooter, back brace and a cane.
Anyway someone gave me a 2011 Mertis Scooter that really wasn't ever used but was just sitting in a storage building,a trickle charger was used to keep the batteries maintained.

A lot of swirls, few scratches and very dirty.
Here is some before pics.

All of it was done by hand:)

Thanks for looking and the prayers:dblthumb2:

nice detail. hope the surgery goes well. and you can get back to detailing asap

You detailed a scooter! never thought I would write that sentence. But why wouldn't you right...if it's got paint, wheels, tires, and seating...detail it. The wood grain is a nice touch.

Definitely wish you well with the surgery!

That's awesome, you may have just found a new detailing profession :buffing:

What, no cup holder? Your doing a terrible job of giving up detailing. Looks like you can fit a microfiber and some QD in the trunk. I am sure you will be back on your feet in no time.

I'll be spending a lot of time in it soi might as well put me a cup holder.
Small bottle of QD and a MF towel in the trunk sounds good:xyxthumbs:

Best wishes for a full recovery after your surgery.

Scooter looks great too. How are you going to transport it?

Last week I helped transfer a lift from a friend's old car (crashed) to her new SUV. It fits into a standard 2 inch hitch. I only had to put it up on my lift to run the power back to it. I didn't want to tap into any existing wiring so I ran new cables right up to an 80 amp fuse block at the battery. I also welded a couple of 1 inch rollers to the back edge of the platform it would roll instead of scrape while going up a steep driveway.

Don't try to lift that thing in or out of a trunk. They are just too damn heavy.

How about that for a detail job! Great job! :dblthumb2:

Here's wishing your surgery goes well and you can let someone else use that super clean scooter soon.
