I have a viper I'm going to be putting a new coating on when I get it back with Ppf on the front end.

It currently has McKee's 37 V2 ceramic coating.

I've been thinking about CQuartz UK 3.0 and topping with CQuartz SIC or possibly the Black fire Pro Black edition.

Any recommendations appreciated.

I’d go CQuartz UK/SiC over Blackfire Pro Black, simply due to the amount of feedback, there isn’t nearly as much on the Blackfire ceramic compared to the incredibly popular CQuartz. I seem to also remember reading about some that had issues installing the BF Pro Black coating but I’d recommend doing some research to validate my recollection. You could also look at the new Gyeon Evo coatings that The Guz recently reviewed though to be fair, Gyeon clearly had CQuartz in mind when they designed them. But Pure Evo with a coat of CanCoat Evo looks to be a strong option. I’ve used CanCoat on the past as a stand-alone coating so to have that as a second coat would be very strong and The Guz says it is SLICK, which you would also get from UK/SiC though the SiC would take a lot longer to apply compared to CanCoat. You really couldn’t go wrong with any of them though.

UK topped with SiC is a great choice. As much as I like Legend it’s not the easiest to use and is very temperature and humidity dependent.
