Recommend me a polish I can use by Hand

How about KLASSE AIO? I remember a time when I hand applied everything and KLASSE yielded great results.

Just found out that friend can sell me Meguiar's Ultimate Compound or Ultima Paint Prep Plus at half the price as he has they lying around and both used half bottle each.

Which one would be better for Hand Correction and which pads should I pick up? I think UPPP comes with an applicator pad.

For some of my neighbors/friends that are like supernaut:

^^^I will/do recommend Nu-Finish…^^^
It’s made by a reputable chemical company; lasts for quite awhile;
and looks pretty good for an OTC AIO.
It’s even been formulated to now be VOC-compliant.

Also: another often overlooked, good ol’ stand-by OTC-AIO…
th

-Contains the number one grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax the world's hardest natural wax
-Features unique micropolishers that remove minor scratches and haze

And, as has been mentioned:
The OP can always use a wipe-down product to remove any unwanted residues from any "polishing-step(s)"...
in order to abide by many Coatings-applications': Directions/instructions

:)

Bob

Duragloss Products are inexpensive and work amazing. Give Richy a call at Duragloss and he will be more than happy to help you select the best product.
Pictures would help, as no one has seen the paint condition.

I do my correction and/or polishing by hand. Ultimate compound does a great job and I use with orange LC CCS euro foam hand applicators (same ones mike philips uses in man vs machine thread and I wouldnt use anything else since the pads keep you from putting pressure on your fingers), multiple applications are important, but I would follow it up with a AIO like optimum poli seal, or swirlx with a white pad to get the best finish. Or since you have minor swirls maybe use UC with a white pad with heavier pressure/passion to correct and follow with a polish with a white pad easing up/with less pressure/passion to refine finish.

I was think if you are doing correction by hand you probably need more trips to the gym prior to correction and lots of Tylenol for the aches afterwards

Tylenol... I'm thinking for muscle aches you'd want ibuprofen. OTOH, I've got time release morphine (and quite a few others actually). Makes the nights better after those hard days. Jus' sayin'..... ;)

i was wondering the same thing actually. i need a good polish that i can use by hand to really make the paint pop more than what im using now. i have the pinnalce polishin pal that came with a red white and orange pad i think. i just use the white and red. i apply klasse aio after a good wash and top with collonite 845 or pinnacle sig series 2 and i just feel like it should look better. i mean it looks good but i just want more but not enough funds to get a da polisher and im a lil scared ill mess up my paint as well.

I too once thought I'd mess things up using a DA but I took the plunge and bought the Griot's 6" RO and haven't looked back, its VERY easy to use and comes with a free dvd and that's both helpful and funny as the owner of Griot's does the video, had me laughing a couple times. As far as prices goes, well everyone has their budget but for $139.00 you can't go wrong and if you time it right here on AG you could save 15-20%, making it an even better deal. What makes the GG wheel so easy to use and fool proof is the way the machine rotates, VERY safe and does the job, they even have their own pads and polishes too, although there's other choices here on AG but before I joined AG and used the pads and polishes from GG I had NO problems correcting what I needed to do but that will greatly vary from job to job, ofcoarse. Oh yeah, one last thing about the GG RO, lifetime warrenty with unsurpassed customer service!

Btw, spend the extra money and get the 25' hard wired cord with it, makes things a lot easier!
