recommend the product or products best suited for my situation?

Happy Monday Mike!

Hope you killed it fishing this weekend!

I have GG9 /w 5" backing plate & GG8. I have LC CCS pads to work with. I did get a good direction here by some of the gracious members. Now that your back form an awesome weekend. Would you be so kind to chime in on the subject. Thank you in advance.

I type this into Google,

SONAX polymer net shield closest thing to a coating mike phillips

I get this,

SONAX Polymer Net Shield - Closest thing to a coating without being a coating

A good way to start is get a quart of the BLACKFIRE One Step and break-in the G9 and G8 doing some production detailing.

You could also go with the Griot's BOSS compounds and polishes. See video 13 here,

Thank you mike!

One more question before I start some production detailing. What would you recommend to wash with to maintain this system?

Awesome, Mike Thank you! :xyxthumbs:

It's the only product I know of that works like I show in pictures, that is takes a neglected car and just after washing it's like you coated the car.

This means it will work great as a "maintenance" wash.

See the pictures I took and shared from one of my Roadshow Classes, this is the real-deal. Live in front of other human beings - no way to mock-it up.

Dumb question, this product is not intended for foam cannon / guns correct?

No.

The Magic Voodoo Juice inside products like this tend to NOT make for lots of suds.

I like foam guns for doing a Prep Wash but for maintenance, I practice and preach this,

How to safely wash a ceramic coated car by Mike Phillips - Traditional Hose & Bucket Approach

It's the TOWEL or MITT that is KEY to keeping your car scratch-free -Mike Phillips

Note: At the time I wrote the above how-to article, the Wolfgang Si02 Coating Wash had not been invented yet. Had it been invented I would have shown it for this style of wash.

Nothing wrong with the BF Ceramic Coating Wash but it's just pure cleaning, not adding of Si02. Given the choice to use one over the other I would opt for adding a little Si02 every time I wash my car to restore the hydrophobic properties, which in turn creates the self-cleaning effect and it RAINS a lot where I live. So every time it rains it cleans my car.

This goes back to me simply being lazy.

Make sense?

:D

Totally makes scene!

As for your comment, "This goes back to me simply being lazy." This reminds me of what a mentor said to me as I was growing up.
