Recommendation: BEAUTY Wax?

I have had sweating issues when I am too heavy handed with the wax....

Apply it thin and I have not had such issues....

Thanks for the input everyone!!! It sounds like majority of you are recommending Fuzion over everything else, including Supernatural. So it sounds like ease of use is what puts it over Supernatural?

I was hoping the large tub was on sale in the included 30% off...but I guess not :(

The 8oz. tub isn't on sale, but for $4 more (this week only) you can get the same 8oz. tub and a few other products in the Fuzion kit. So while you aren't getting a discount on the wax, you're basically getting the Wolfgang Auto Bathe, Paintwork Polish Enhancer, Deep Glos Spritz Sealant, 2 Cobra MF towels, 2 Foam applicators and the Wolfgang handbook for $4! That's a great deal if you were going to buy the wax, anyway!

I agree with the folks above FUZION is very hard to beat. I consider it durable enough to go about 6 to eights weeks or 10 washings. I also believe it goes a long way for the money. I was recently given a few mini jars as a gift and thought I would see how long they lasted and far they would go. I have done four corrcted and sealed vehicles out of one mini tub and have a little left. I consider that a very good value. If you are not finishing your cars with a quality wax (about $7 to $10 in product) the rest of the time you spent in wahing, claying, correction, glazing, sealing etc. is worth nothing.

I just put it an order of FUZIONNNNNNNNNNN!!!! :D It got added on the sale! yay!

The sale made choosing Fuzion over Dodo SN a pretty easy choice. Thanks to all that helped me decide on it.

I have both, and like Fuzion much better than SN (especially on flat black); because I find SN much harder to apply and also find it to sweat for a couple days.

I am lost. I have been told that the finish is all in the polish and that a wax does is protect. What is the story?

You are correct. Polish the paint to perfection and you are not going to be able to add any more clarity by adding any wax or sealant. However waxes and sealants do effect the look for better or worse by the way that you perceive the light passing through them and the effect they have on it reflecting back to your eyes.

Wax gives "some" protection with a quality sealant being the real protection. I always inform my customers that wax (carnauba or otherwise) will give up to 4-6 weeks of protection, but is really better used as a beautifier. Beautifier of the darker and some brighter colors most notably.

What about Autoglym HD? Looks wonderful and has an awesome look.

Haven't tried it, but I have heard good things about it. Most of the products I use are found elsewhere from AG. There are so many different waxes that it really becomes a preference of the technician as to what they will use with specific colors or finishes.

I like Dodo Supernatural. I didn't have problems applying and removing even in the sun.

Seen all those votes for the Fuzion makes my wish I had chosen it yesterday when I placed my orders... I guess I know what I'm gonna be choosing once I'm ready again... (Ended up getting P21 100% carnauba )

For a beauty wax on a black car, I'd have to stick with Souveran. It gives a warmth that I haven't been able to find with other waxes (excepting Zymol Vintage). Fuzion looks great on my black S2K but so do a host of other waxes I have tried, most of which cost a lot less than Fuzion. I'm not knocking Fuzion--quite the contrary, I like it a lot--but I honestly cannot say that it's superior to, say, P21S 100%, Wet Diamond, or Harly Wax. But of course, there's only one way to find out!

:iagree: Perfect explanation. :applause:

I have SN but i find it hard to use. Apply on the hood, leave it for few minutes and wipe off. But it then left me some blurly swirl so i took out my Souveran and finished the rest of the car.
