Looking for a product to use after my normal weekly wash. Right now I wash and blow dry, usually do a final wipe with a QD. I have been using a big box store spray wax and quick detailers. Ideally looking for a spray wax type of product to use post wash/dry. Polish and was every 3-5 months.

Would you care to disclose the
LSP (Wax; Sealant) you're now
using on the vehicle? TIA.

I believe I am using meguiars ultimate quik wax. Milky white color, sprays on and wipes off clean. Provides a decent result but looking for a better product.

I have been very impressed with Griot's Spray-on-wax

I love Meguiars UQW / D156.

I've read Griot's Spray Wax is "better" when applied to slightly wet during drying process... also streekes less?

I use to use Griots spray wax all the time, i love it and the smell! I still use it occasionally, but i have a plethora of others to use up also.

^ Great product, every time you wash, you also apply wax. How long does it last? I know it lasts at least a month, but then I don't wait any longer and use ONRWW again, since I basically have to do nothing to apply it. My car always beads.

Duragloss Aquawax, one of my favorites- very durable.
I also like griots Speed Shine- great lubricity and shine.
Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer- awesome water beading.

Take your pick of the AG “spray wax” smorgasbord.
You’ll be hard pressed not to come back for more.

I found UQW to be an excellent product. I'm surprised you're looking for better. I've used a few others, not because I was dissatisfied with UQW, but I wanted to experience other products and I moved to using coatings.

Since then I've found McKee's 37 High Gloss Detail Spray and Kenotek Showroom Shine (available via sister site Autopia) to be very good as well. I also used Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer on one occasion and was VERY impressed by the results.

I highly recommend mixing up what I call "blue juice" and use it as part of your routine.

  • Get a 32oz bottle
  • Mix up some ECH20 at 1:20 ratio with distilled water
  • Fill the 32oz bottle to 28oz line with the above
  • Add 2oz of CarPro Reload
  • Shake well before using

I usually blow dry my cars, then soak my 16x16 drying rag in a solution of Wolfgang Uber Rinseless solution mixed up at 1/2oz to a gallon of distilled water. Wring out the rag completely so that it's just damp but dry enough that it won't streak. Spritz with the above Blue Juice and wipe down each panel. Re-Spritz when needed. Your vehicle will be clean, dry and slick as can be with a super rich gloss and a durable silica based layer on the finish for protection that will last and last.

When I complete a detail I give my customers a small gift bucket: Small 1gal bucket from Lowes Paint Dept., Nice 16x16 drying towel, 1 gal of W.G. Uber / Distilled mixed up and a small 8oz bottle of blue juice already mixed up and instruct them on my process. The look on their face when they get my gift bucket is priceless and going forward I know my work is fully protected.

Regards,
