Recommendations for a FOAMING waterless wash?

I'd think any car wash soap would be compatible with water.

Yeah Ammo’s is a concentrated product meant to be diluted 20:1. The 3D is meant to be used neet so you could dilute it but would weaken cleaning/lubricity.

At recommended strength (again assuming 3D is meant to be used neet, not much info on it) you are getting a better value using at recommended dilutions. You could definitely water either product down

Why would a company not release a product in the U.S.? I ask this because there isn't alot out there in the form of a foaming WW

I’ve alway wondered how P&S pearl would work being used in the foaming waterless style. It’s marketed as being able to be used as a rinseless, so I’d imagine it could function that way.

Wow I had no idea the foaming 3D product existed. If they could make a nano-drum version like their Super Soap that would be incredible. I bet there's just too many solids in it to do so though.

Apparently we have a Foaming waterless wash here on Autogeek. American Detailer Garage has a hybrid soap that can be used in a bucket or a rinseless/waterless.

I'm always worried about the "can be" of any statement. I say this because Double Black Renny Doyle Collection Pearl "can also be used" this way, I've never tried it

Know what? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone try doing it this way.

I’m gonna buy a bottle right now and test it in my IK foamer and take one for the team.

If you go onto YouTube I think there's a vid of it being used this way

I’ve seen the rag company use it as a rinseless in a video, but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone specifically try to foam it on and use it like a waterless wash. But I’ll give it another search before I click buy. Believe me, it’s in the cart waiting.

Yeah i looked up Pearl and doesn’t mention it being used as a rinseless/waterless on A G site but read that it can be used that way. But no mention on the site.

For the ADG fuzion it says it can be used both bucket and rinseless/waterless and recommends using a foaming apparatus both ways. The AG recommendation makes me feel a little safer.

I am with you though in my mind a dedicated specific solution makes sense. But i could be wrong but it puts me at ease. I’ll test some out whenever i make my next geek order.

Alright so the 3D foaming waterless wash arrived and I gave it a go. I won't link the website but the packaging was good and more than adequate.

Now one thing I didn't know is that this is a RTU product with no dilution. Has kinda a mango chemical smell. Not bad but a little odd.

I loaded up 32oz in my ammo pump foamer

Test subject was my camaro that has full xpel and coated.

Foaming is good. Bit more clingy than frothe.

Now here's where it may deter people. As it states on the directions after gently wiping off the dirt wirh a microfiber towel the product will leave a film behind that needs to be wiped off with a clean microfiber towel.

Not the end of the world but wanted to mention it. I found using your favorite detail spray or coating booster works well and fast. I used igl premier and was left with a nice clean surface. If you just wipe off the residue I found it to not be really slick. But ill play with it some more.

I went a little heavy and used close to 12oz. Can probably get away with 6-8oz.

Thanks for the mini review! I guess it's good that it didn't leave the surface slick because that would mean it's a pure cleaner, right

When you say its RTU, why would you play around with the ratio, that would mean its NOT RTU

I didn't plat around with any ratio. Added 32oz to my foamer and went to town. I used about 12oz of that spraying heavy. I can probably get away with using 6-8Oz by not spraying as much.

From your picks it looks thinner than Frothe and i’ve never had issue with frothe not clinging.

I stated in previous post this was RTU weirdly making an AMMONYC product a better price value.

How do you like compared to frothe? Do you think it could be diluted?

Thanks for the review.
