Recommendations for compounds and polishes

Hello everyone,

I am looking for what everyone thinks is the best compound and polish to use. Please, if you reply, also include why you recommend whatever it is you are suggesting. This is much more important than just the answer itself. My criteria are in this order:
1. Low/no dusting
2. Ease of use (does not dry up too fast, ease on/off)
3. Does not stain trim
4. cost (I put cost last because the above are more important to me).

I just finished detailing my C7 black Z06 using Meguiars M105/M205. The results were pretty good, but I personally found M105 to be hard to work with. It dusted a ton and dried up pretty much on the first pass. I am using a PC7424XP with hexLogic orange/white/black 5.5" pads. Some brands I'm thinking of are Wolfgang, Pinnacle, Menzerna, Griot's Garage BOSS.

Also, as a side note, I used Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 and thought it was amazing. very easy to work with. I then followed that all up with Pinnacle Souveran wax. I will most likely stay with these two products.

As I move forward, I don't think I will need to do heavy paint correction on my cars... just minor swirl remover and finishing polish. I wash my cars weekly and try to keep them well maintained.

I like jescar also what I find and have only used twice no dust on paint but cleaning the foam pad their was dust and I think I like that. When I brush off the pad it seams to clean up better than other compounds that gum up the pad. So my choice at this point in time is jescar over all others..
 
Mike, thank you for the reply. are these products the exact same as the Menzerna line, or are they a new formula under the Jescar name? also, if they are different, are you saying (from your experience) that they work better based on teh criteria I listed above? the products look very good and I am going to purchase to try them out.

The more I try to only have one go to product for a given task, the more I end up having many. This is because there are so many great products out there. I have turned into an autogeek/detailing junkie like the rest of you all on the forum. :-)
 
Im still a newb but have had good results with the menzerna 400/3500 combo on my red swirled out gmc truck.
