Hi guys, I'm slightly embarrassed that I'm even asking this, as I'm typically not an "easy way out" detailer. BUT, here's the scoop: every once in a while, I get a vehicle where the owner just cares about saving money and I'd like to offer a spray wax option that gives the best gloss. I'm not concerned about protection as much here, as I am with POP.

Has anyone out there tried a bunch of spray waxes and which one/s offer the highest gloss?

I want you to know that this isn't how I prefer to detail, but for some, a wash and best gloss in the shortest amount of time is all they're interested in.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the quick tips, guys, I will check out both products and read some reviews. I hate even asking stuff like this, as I usually like to experiment with several products first. BUT, in this case, I was hoping someone bought 6 or 7 different products and put a gloss meter to them. Anyone else have one that they love for gloss?

I also heard that polish angel sealant plus high gloss is absolutely spectacular.

I have those but I haven't put the sealant on a vehicle yet.

•IMO:
1.) Gloss is multidimensional; and is influenced
by the perceptual judgements of individuals.

2.) Four Star Ultimate Spray Wax Plus (4*USW+)
underlines, at the very least, one major aspect of
the above mentioned multidimensionality of gloss:
the phenomenon known as Specular Gloss.

3.) 4*USW+...I’ve no doubt that your perception
of the gloss it provides will be nothing short of:

:wow: ... It is Good Stuff!

I think this is subjective.

What LSP?

On what type of paint?

I use 476s on metallic grey, and I will still say DG Aquawax is the product that makes the metallic "pop" the most. Optimum is a close second.

Great question, I understand what you're saying. If I have a customer who just wants their car washed and lightly detailed, which spray wax or gloss enhancer (if that exists) can I use after washing to help the paint best pop. I understand that by not removing swirls and other defects, I'm limiting the amount of gloss I can obtain. BUT, if I go to that level, I'll likely use Pinnacle Souveran if someone wants great gloss. In this case, I'm just looking for something I can cheat with if a customer doesn't want a full detail. I hope that helps clarify a bit.

i've been using this lately at 1 & 1/2 oz's to 14 1/2 oz's of water in a 16 oz spray bottle as a spray wax. slick and leaves a nice gloss...

McKee's 37 Rinse Free Wash & Wax

I have so many SW's I could fill a bathtub with them. Lol

But I'm sure the McKee's is a winner. I have found all of their stuff to be excellent.
