I think the OP is looking for more of a QD for light cleaning duty. Also consider Megs D114 diluted at 1:128. A $32 gallon will make 129 gallons of QD/waterless wash.
 
I use ONR, diluted to whatever they say to dilute it to. Works great.

Wish I would have noticed the Uber (4in1) before buying the expensive kit!! Happy with there quick detailer but the Uber looks like what I will switch to next. Get a 64oz and be good for years. That and the sealant and your good to go for most things. Was thinking about trying out a new detailer because I don't know any better but think I will be staying with WG.

I second this.

It is 32 oz's for $5.00 and change at your local Wal-Mart.
I dilute 3:1 with distilled water.
So, 1 gallon of product for $5.00 and change.

Great product, and leaves paint/clear coat feeling nice and soft.
Great for clay lube as well.
Smells great.
Highly recommend this product.

Note:
I used this product as my go to spray detailer at the previous company I worked for.
We had 6 work vehicles, all of which were white.
Not once did I ever see one streak or smudge out of this product.
 
For a quick detailer what I use is Optimum No-Rinse and Shine diluted at Quick Detailer strength (can't remember the exact dilution... something like 1:16 or 1:8 I think) check their website for exact number. It's the cheapest I was able to find and it works well.

You could do the same with Optimum no-rinse and wax if you wanted protection at the same time. Their documentation doesn't mention this but using the same dilution would work. I used this before purchasing the NR&S 4 years ago.

Megs D114 is even cheaper at 1:128 and $32 for a gallon. I didn't really like ONR and ONRWW as detail sprays. Kinda grabby feeling.

I haven't tried D114 yet, still have too much ONR left to justify buying it. I have only read good things about it so far. Not surprising, Meguiar's products are always good and good value too. Can't wait to run out of ONR ;)
 
FK425 is my go-to detailer. Plenty of lubricant to protect against abrasion. Excellent finish and shine. Better than Meguiars.
