Well I can’t seem to find my usual glass cleaner, Pinnacle Crystal Clear Glass Cleaner.
Looks like I need to get something else from now on.
So what does everyone recommend?

Mckee's 37 glass cleaner I've tried heaps over the years and found this for me to work.

Yes it's hard because i live outside of America to get but the stuff I have work's.

Carpro Clarify is my usual go to, but Angelwax Vision is great if I need to really clean off grime, grease, or cut through something Clarify can't deal with. I Also really like Labocosmetica Nitido is great above 40F (It does not work for me at all cleaning my windows in the colder/winter months) and it's thicker gel-like non dripping consistency is really nice.

Another vote for Invisible Glass.

I keep trying new candidates, but I've come to feel that the fancier the product, the harder it is to achieve streak free results. I get the best results from using basic glass cleaners like Invisible Glass. I put this down to it being color and scent free, it's simplicity makes it more stable.

Although it is colored, I've also found P&S True Vue to be very good. It comes in a 16oz RTU bottle, but the gallon is a concentrate that allows you to mix it for winter (4:1) and summer (10:1) dilutions. It's also incredibly cheap.

Meguiar’s Perfect Clarity and Stoners Invisible Glass have been my favorites the last few years.

A friend suggested I try 3D GLW series Ceramic Glass Cleaner and I wasn’t impressed at all. Not very good cleaning power and minimal protection at best. At $14 dollars a bottle it’s a hard pass in the future.

I'm with you on the "fancy" stuff adding a degree of difficulty.
I also do not need or want heavy scented products.

Another vote for Stoners. I’ve tried a lot and haven’t found anything I think are particularly better but some much worse (primarily clarity and griots ceramic glass cleaner).

If you're working on interior glass, it is hard to beat the Zap Cloth. No streaks and cleans with just water. Been using one for years.

Oh geeze, another product I bought and completely forgot about. IIRC it was Eldo that was singing the praises so I figured I would try it, I bought that 3-pack...I wonder where I put them...

#1 Sprayway/#2 Stoners. For some reason I can’t find Sprayway in liquid spray, only in spray foam.

Agreed. Since purchasing some a few years ago I can’t remember the last time I used a glass cleaner on the interior glass.

Yes.

So to add to this discussion…

If I did NOT go with the Zap Cloth, what application would you all use?
I’ve used waffle glass cloths forever, but not sure if I love them… or if there is something better out there.

The Rag Company FTW towel (For The Windows) is a twist weave, that's very nice on glass. AutoFiber has a similar towel as well as every other permutation you can think of. I am always in search of a better glass towel, but if your waffle weave's have been working, stick with that, there's nothing worse than microfiber lint on the inside of your windshield.

I've settled on the TRC Dry Me A River waffle weave towels, they are less grabby than the assortment of glass specific towels I've tried. These particular waffle weaves have larger raised sections, so they glide better. You can also size them to your preference.

- 16"x16"
- 16"x24" (I use this size)
- 20"x40"
- 26"x59"

I'm normally a fan of scented products, but not with glass cleaners. I noticed a pattern with heavily scented and colored glass cleaners, they need virtually perfect conditions to work properly. Some of the worst being from WoWo's, easily one of the worst detailing products I've tried. And Bilt Hamber Traceless..................................I have a gallon of the stuff and its virtually useless. And guess which product I reach for when I go to fix the problem left behind by such substandard products?

Griot's crinkle glass towels are nice. The crinkle weave helps prevent the towel from becoming grabby.
