Reconditioning of my new/used TSX (Ongoning)

Wow!! Great job!! :xyxthumbs:

Do keep the updates coming! :D

wow OCD is a good thing when it comes to auto detailing....the attention to detail is well above average and the organization of your supplies is almost exactly how i want it

It's hard to find a sedan that looks awesome from every angle, and that TSX is on my very short list of hot sedans.

Rasky- I buffed out one exactly like that two years ago. Single stage, if I remember correctly? I've never seen paint look like it was dripping off the car like that.

I used a combo.
Megs Super Degreaser 4:1 in a foaming bottle.
P21s Total Auto Wash
Bucket of soap and water.
Megs Hyper Dressing 4:1
CG VRP Dressing

Start wherever you want on the inner fender spray your cleaner, let it dwell for about 30 seconds then scrub away. I used a variety of brushes, one of which was a thick bristled carpet brush. It had a really nice big handle so you could really put some force into it. Then rinse and re-clean as needed. Once you think you are done, use the soap and water in a bucket with a old rag/mitt you dont use anymore and wipe everything down a few time just because IMO your hand can reach alot more weird places under the car, than those big clunky brushes can reach. Once you are finally done, give everything a final rinse and let it dry while you now wash the rim (since its off the car.) After that is done spray your wheel wells liberally with megs HD. Let it set for about 1-2 mins (this is where I cleaned and treated the mud guards.) For the mud guards, remove them from the car, then spray your cleaner, use the same method from cleaning your wheel wells. Then I use a cheap 50cent paint brush from lowes to apply and spread the VRP (or whatever your trim dressing is). While that trim dressing is setting in, go back to your wheel wells and wipe off any excess HD. Go back and wipe your mud guards down clean, buff off any excess dressing. Put everything back together and enjoy :)
