I hate to shake up paint cans. So I took an old saws all blade and welded two worm clamps to it. Works great.

Nice, but I think I've seen that invention on an infomercial or Cool Tools though. :awman:

yee haw...thats the kind of engineering I can appreciate. You ever make a decision by putting a circle on the driveway with all the options and spinning a rotary with a mark on it to see where it lands?

If you think were you saw it let me know, I might be able to improve mine. I have seen worm screws with wide blades on the head to tighten it, I might try that . I have seen one that spins in a drill but I thought this was more like shaking.

I googled a bit, couldn't find anything. Maybe it was a dream LOL. Be sure to post V2 if you make one :xyxthumbs:

I don't care who ya are.....that's great!!!!!
God bless the pigmies in....

:props:

Maybe something that you could tighten with your hands instead of using a tool??

BTW that looks awesome! Great idea

Wow, we even have inventors on this forum. What a diversified group we are.:xyxthumbs:

Seems to complicated for most redneck paint-jobs in my neighborhood.
I would have already rattle-canned the parts for my Corvette, and had a couple of beers drank, before that spray paint can shaking contraption was even hooked-up.

But from now on...
When I have special-company (like the in-laws) over, I'm thinking of using this invention for creating that appearance of sophistication.

And to think, I saw a semi-dead recip saw at a garage sale the other day for $10!

To quote Maxwell Smart, "Missed it by this much!"
