This car belongs to a regular client of mine. He just got the car from his Father and the car has 200,000 miles on it. It rained both times I was over to work on this car. Today I was just able to get a coat of wax on it after doing the finish pass. One more trip over to do a second coat of wax and final wipedown and get the wheels polished. I have 2 other vehicles to get done for him so another trip is scheduled anyway.

The process was as follows.

Wash with Meg's Hyper Wash

Wheels cleaned with PB S&R

Clay with Clay Magic Blue PB S&G as lube

PB Pro Polish on Purple foamed wool pad using Makita rotary

PB Trim restorer applied using 1" solvent proof paint brush

PB SSR1 on PB red VC finish pad using Flex 3401

This is where it started to rain again so I quickly applied a coat of Collinite #845. I intend to apply a second coat apon my return because I wasn't able to do the roof because it was raining too hard.

Here are a few before pics.

great work, love the 50/50, and the gloss that is brought back is amazing!

Great job bringing that Subaru back to life.

Wow! Great work Dave! The 50/50 shot makes the hood look like a completely different color of red! :props:

Edit: A little of tangent here but that neighborhood looks amazing! I love a well grown in area like that with large trees! :)

Thanks to all of you for the compliments. This was a very enjoyable job to do. I was particularly impressed with how the Pro Polish achieved the correction in the first pass with the PFW. I had typically reserved my gallon of PP as a paint cleaner only but think I'll be using it with the PFW more often.

I've not seen an Outback in that color combo... Nice work.
Great color.

50/50 shot is impressive.

How many miles on the car?

Thanks, that color combo is vert nice looking. The car has 200,000 miles on it and still runs like a top.:xyxthumbs:

The hoodshot is picture perfect. I'm learning to take pictures, this has helped tremendously.
