Well I finally bit the bullet and got the website professionally redesigned. I was not getting the results I needed from my online presence, and the website did not match the quality of all my other materials.

One thing I lack on the new website that I am completely aware of is volume of quality photos. I'm looking into purchasing a new digital camera this spring to start getting some nice high res shots.

Anyway, please look around and tell me what you think. The design cannot easily be changes but the content can be changed at the drop of a hat.

Looks great! Just a couple questions on the PREMIUM DETAIL are you doing a 1step in 4-6 hours and a full interior?EXECUTIVE DETAIL it says 8-14 hours for multi step. Most my 1steps take me that long.

I read pretty much everything on the site.

I really dont have anything to critique honestly! Like the look, clean, easy to understand, I new exactly where you were within, 1 minute of being on the page and how to contact you!

Like it!

One particular photo in your gallery really stood out to me... the BMW wagon.

I don't know if that was intentional or not, but the shot has a subtle subliminal/suggestive quality to it. I like it a lot.

Very nice and clean - Do you mind me asking how much? PM maybe?!?!?

+1 I've been trying to do it myself and I'm wondering the same, mind sharing in a pm?

It's very nice, easy to navigate sometimes it's better to have a professional do the job... which is why those of us who own shops and rigs do what we do :dblthumb2:.

Very nice. Only comment under paint correction it asks not sure how much? Then there is a blank line and then call or fill out... To me the blank line should not be there. I'd suggest having the call or fill out line right under it and maybe in heading 2 (larger, bold, etc) so it stands out from the page but looks connected to the question.

Guys, I am blown away buy the positive feedback and really appreciate it.

I was in the same boat as most of you guys for about a year with my previous website. No matter how much I worked on it, it never had that "professional" look to it.

I paid around $1,000 for the website design and creation, which includes one year of support, so I can just e-mail the design team any time I need to make changes and they will do it for me. If you would like details about where I got it designed from and some contact information, PM me and I will put you in touch. They allow for monthly payments if needed and are extremely helpful with the design process.

As for the question about my one step, I do one section pass with polish or AIO polish over the entire vehicle, then seal with just polish. I do not consider it a 1 step correction, but a 1 step polish. It takes from 45 minutes, to 1.5 hours depending on the size of the vehicle. I would rather do full correction work but am mindful of the needs of my clients to stay within a certain price point. I still see a good 70-80% correction with this package.

Looks good. Things we do not do box is a little strange.
I bet you don't rotate tires but it is not on the list. I'm sure the reason you did it is because you field a lot of calls for those services.

As far as photos go I think it's a real art form. You may be better off taking a class in photography. You could give me the worlds most expensive camera and I could not take a good photo. Hand a iPhone to a good photographer and you will always get a good photo.

I did that because:

1. I do get a lot of calls about non related services. Especially when my page comes up through local web searches for unrelated services. I felt like just pointing out the main things that are somewhat related to me that I do not do would convey that I am all detail oriented.

2. I want to be as communicative as possible with my clients and prospects. They should get a good image of what I specialize in, and what I do not.

3. I want my clients and prospects to be comfortable with my service. Comfort is created by focus, and them knowing that I focus 100% on detailing, with the odor removal being a add-on and related service.

I agree with the camera thing, I'm going to start getting some photography books and doing some research as well as the camera purchase.

I appreciate the feedback!

Mark,
if you divide the max value of the packages with the max hours per package you end up at an hour rate 30$ , 27$ , 26$ that`s kind of low.... it may be ok for basic wash and wax but not for all the stuff you listed there
also add to that free pick-up and 25$ mobile wash.... sounds even lower

but hey is your business and your value there, i hope it works for you.
nice site, simple , easy to navigate
good luck!

The website is clean, uncluttered, educational and informative. When I finished reading the first page if I wanted to get deeper into your site, I am forced to scroll back up to the top of the page to make any menu selection. Matter of fact I tried to click on the "Schedule Appointment" and "Contact Us Today" squares at the bottom of the page to see what these forms looked like. You might want to consider hot linked graphic menu items at the bottom of your pages. Visitors to your page are probably lazy like me and need things made easy for them.

If I lived close to you I would call you for your mobile wash package #2. As I read that, I am expecting you to apply by hand a premium hand wax or sealant. Is that a separate process that is not part of the rinseless wash? What product will you use as the LSP on my car?

Not trying to say anything bad but I don't know how your doing a 1 step in 45-1.5 hours doesn't seem possible. Most my customers only want one steps and it takes me 8 hours or more todo a proper one step and then top with LSP.

it takes me around 3-5 h with 1 assistant to do 1 step , wheels , windows , clay , masking tape included. with more help you may get around 2h , it will look like 4-6 people running a factory line, one polish one wipe one seal and go around the car :))) Im the MAN

If you have help I can see cutting time in half for sure.

I actually adjusted my pricing up with the release of the website. I price based on my market and the amount of the market will tolerate in my area. I'm looking to do 15-30% price increases yearly over the next 2-3 years.

I live in a urban area where I rarely see exotics, so it is mostly daily drivers and weekend warrior vehicles.

I appreciate the rundown though, but I still want to show value for a quality service based on my market.

I simply do not spend that long on each panel of the vehicle. I do one section pass of each panel once over the entire vehicle. I get good correction for the time that I spend on the vehicle. I mostly use HD Polish with an Optimum MF pad, then follow with Opti-Seal.

I don't see how it could take 8 hours to do what I'm doing, but I think the difference is in how we define "1 step". I believe you are referring more to a 1 step "correction", and I am doing a 1 step "polish".

Yes we do define it different.

I build websites for a living. Thats pretty comparable to what I would charge. They did a nice clean job. Looks good on mobile as well. Only thing is they should of put in more textual content to come up via SEO in your local area. Some more key words.

The bottom buttons on the website (make appointment/contact us) I would make actually usable. Right now they are just unclickable images - maybe placeholder for links?

+++++1 These panels call for action and need to go somewhere.

Your selections of Paint Correction and Gallery look like "Paint Correction Gallery" they need to be seperated or many people will miss one or the other.

Nice job.
