redirect error

Taking a break from my detailing to update this for the site admins: I'm an IT consultant and have been running into the exact same issue the other folks have been describing. Ran autogeekonline.net through some tools and found this:

Scan Results - Free Website Malware Scanner

"Malware entry: malware.forum_redirect.1
Description: Infection that targets mainly outdated vBulletin sites with the VBSEO plugin. It redirects visitors coming from search engines to one of the following sites: myfilestore[.]com, filestore72[.]info, file2store[.]info, url2short[.]info, filestore123[.]info, url123[.]info, dollarade[.]com"

Basically, there's a random redirect happening because of an outdated VBulletin SEO plugin that's infected with malware.

Hope that helps, I'll send you my bill. :-)

It appears to be pretty common for other users over the years as well. Hopefully one of the administrators of this site will be able to resolve it.

Vbulletin 4.2.0 pl3 hacked redirect to filestore72.info - vBulletin Community Forum

should have this fix for you shortly.

thanks

.

I don't know who this is but I'm new to this and I don't know how it works. All I know is I signed up because I would like to receive the printed version of the VIF sent to my email [email protected]

If you could help with that I sure would appreciate it. Thank You

was this resolved? I'm seeing it happening again.

yes, but they found another loop hole. We are setting up another server so we can do a fresh install of the software and remove the any non supported 3rd party software that are causing the issue. I will keep you updated, most likely will have to close the forum for 24 hours once we start the database migration.

Is there anyway that the gallery can be fixed. It seems the recent migration altered something to not allow access to the gallery.

I'm glad you mentioned this. I've been getting it too for a couple weeks now when doing Google searches which lead back to AG.

This is happening again. I thought it was previously fixed but I'm seeing it a lot again.
