Hello...everyone i am new to the do it your self detail hobby, I would like to seek help from anyone how is familer with removing swirls caused by high speed buffers sometimes called buffer burn or holograms. I would also like to know what would be recomended products to use.

They are removed with the same tool that introduced them into the paint....a buffer. It's not the machine that caused them but rather the operator not finishing out his or her work.

If they are light then an orbital with the proper pads and product should be able to remove them.

Now if these are on a Vette then you'll need perhaps a rotary for the first and/or 2nd step then an orbital to finish it up. If you have never run a high speed rotary then I suggest you leave this to a pro.

Now if you have the time and the proper tools then an orbital (I highly suggest the Flex) can do a great job, even on the harder Vette clears, but again it's time consuming but great therapy also:buffing:

Good luck,
Anthony
