remove bumper light scratches

Hi all..
i have a 15 GTI and noticed some light scratches (i assume from rocks) on the front bumper (which i assume is plastic) under the headlight area. while i don't have a picture of my car right now..

roughly in the area below the headlight and above where the fog lamps would be.
would something like meguires plastix work here?

You could try the Plastx if you have it on hand. It is just marketed toward smooth unpainted plastic. I am not sure where this product fits in as far as its aggressiveness, but would think it would be on the lighter side of the polish scale. Painted plastic can, for the most part, be treated the same as the rest of the cars paint.
