My 2015 Acura TLX is 2 months old and about a month into ownership I noticed millions of tiny specks on the glass. it's only noticeable when driving right into the sun.
My sense is it's either hard water stains or tree sap. I have a soft water tap at my home and that's the only water that has been used to wash the vehicle (although even this softened water has minerals remaining). I'm leaning towards sap because my office has dozens of tall trees in the area and I have noticed a few globs of sap on the car in the past.
I took a razor blade to a small area of the windshield and it did seem to make a noticeable difference. Invisible Glass doesn't get the job done.
Do you have any recommendations for a solution or solvent that might work better and easier than a razorblade on the glass?
Thanks,
Ron in Idaho
