Living in Florida I have to constantly strategically park my car as 'pine trees' pose a constant threat. I wish I could park in a gargage but as of now that is not an option. I have two giant pine trees on either side of my drive way that basically destroy any paint that they come across. I park my car at the bottom of the drive way but still have managed to collect some sap from these useless tress! I am planning a wash, clay, wash, polish, sealant combo...That being said, will the clay bar remove this or do I need a sap remover to do the job. My paint is good except for the sap spots it has gathered. Will I need a tree sap romoving agent or will the clay bar take care of this annoying problem???

The clay might take care of it but if i was you i would go to my local auto parts store and get a can of stoners tarminator. It is cheap insurance to not have to stop and go to the store. I would also definately use a sealant to keep the sap from harming the clear incase you cant clean any off for a few days. You can always top with a nuba if you like the warm wet look.

For pine tree sap use rubbing alcohol, mineral spirits, or turpentine. You'll have to re-LSP afterwards.
I put rubbing alcohol on a cloth, lay the cloth over the sap drop, let it soak a minute, wipe it off, and re-LSP.

:iagree::whs: Stoners Tarminator will get the big blobs that have dried like resin.
